Prof. Enhong Chen is currently a full Professor, executive dean of School of Data Science and vice dean of School of Computer Science of University of Science and Technology of China(USTC), CCF Fellow, IEEE Senior Member (Since 2007), winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (in 2013), scientific and technological innovation leading talent of 'Ten Thousand Talent Program'(in 2017) and member of the Decision Advisory Committee of Shanghai (Since June, 2018). I am also the vice director of the National Engineer Laboratory for Speech and Language Information Processing, the director of Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Big Data Analysis and Application, and the chairman of Anhui Province Big Data Industry Alliance. I received my B.Sc degree from Anhui University in 1989, Master degree from Hefei University of Technology in 1992 and Ph.D degree in computer science from USTC in 1996.

Dr. Le Wu is a professor at Hefei University of Technology, China. She received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China. Her current research interests focus on user-centric intelligent systems, such as recommendation, user modeling, and fairness and explainability issues for user-centric applications. She has published 50+ academic papers in leading journals (e.g., TKDE, TOIS, TNNLS, TMSC, TIST, TMM) and conferences (e.g., SIGIR, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, KDD, MM, SDM, CIKM). She was honored to receive the Distinguished Dissertation Award from China Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) in 2017, and the paper awards from SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (“Best of SDM 2015”). She regularly serves as a reviewer or (senior) PC member for top journals and conferences.

Hongzhi Yin, The University of Queensland

Dr. Hongzhi Yin is an Associate Professor at The University of Queensland. He received his Ph.D. from Peking University. He has made notable contributions to the fields of recommendation systems, graph learning, and trustworthy intelligence and has received numerous awards and recognition for his research achievements. He has been featured among IEEE Computer Society’s 2022 AI’s 10 to Watch, and the 2022 and 2021 Stanford’s World’s Top 2% Scientists. He has been recognized as the 2023 and 2022 AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honorable Mention in Data Mining and Field Leader of Data Mining and Analysis in the Australian Research 2020 magazine. In addition, he has received the Australian Research Council Future Fellowship 2022, and the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) 2016. He has published over 240 papers in the top conferences and prestigious journals and received H-Index 58. His research has won the Best Paper Award at ICDE 2019, Best Paper Award Runner-up at WSDM 2023, Best Student Paper Award at DASFAA 2020, Best Paper Award Nomination at ICDM 2018, and Peking University Distinguished Ph.D. Dissertation Award 2014.

Jundong Li, University of Virginia

Dr. Jundong Li is an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia with appointments in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and School of Data Science. Prior to joining UVA, he received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University in 2019. His research interests are generally in data mining and machine learning, with a particular focus on graph mining, causal inference, and algorithmic fairness. As a result of his research work, he has published over 120 papers in high-impact venues (including KDD, WWW, NeruIPS, IJCAI, AAAI, WSDM, EMNLP, CIKM, ICDM, SDM, ECML-PKDD, CSUR, TPAMI, TKDE, TKDD, TIST, etc), with over 7,000 citation count. He has won several prestigious awards, including SIGKDD 2022 Best Research Paper Award, NSF CAREER Award, JP Morgan Chase Faculty Research Award, Cisco Faculty Research Award, and being selected for the AAAI New Faculty Highlights roster.

Defu Lian, University of Science and Technology of China

Defu Lian is a professor at the school of computer science and technology, University of Science and Technology of China. His main research interest lies in data mining and deep learning as well as recommender systems. He has published more than 100 papers at prestigious conferences and journals, and received a best paper runner-up in APWeb 2016, best paper candidate in WWW 2021 and best paper award in WISE 2022. He regularly serves (Senior) program committee member in a dozen of conferences of the related areas, like KDD, ICML, SDM, ICDM and ECML/PKDD.
